KIITEC Trainer Successfully Awarded Internationally Recognised Certificate for the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Sector

Mr. Omari Abdallah, an Assistant Teacher at KIITEC, was successfully awarded the Galileo Master Certificate by the European Energy Committee (EEC) this November. Over the past few months, Mr. Omari has been working hard through distance learning courses to upgrade his skills in Solar Photovoltaic and Solar Water Heating. This week he received the news of his positive exam results and has been added to the list of achievers of the Galileo Master Certificate, an internationally recognised distinction for the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Sector.
Mr. Omari began at KIITEC as a student in Industrial Automation with dreams since his childhood of becoming an engineer. Upon graduation, he commenced his career with Serengeti Breweries Ltd in Mwanza, Tanzania. In 2011 he made the decision to change career paths and was recruited back to KIITEC to work as the Assistant Teacher for Industrial Automation. In this role he is encouraged to continue to learn and grow professionally through the KIITEC Staff Development Plan sponsored by ADEI's partner, FTE.
